karen+aaron // Just Takes a Little // Cambridge Mill Wedding

Karen and Aaron’s ceremony was held at the open-air amphitheater in Mill Race Park, Cambridge, and the festivities continued on to the Cambridge Mill, overlooking the Grand River. I hadn’t seen a Chinese Tea Ceremony since my uncle’s wedding many years ago, so it was a bit of a fun throwback for me. That, and the numerous wardrobe changes made by Karen! She looked absolutely stunning in each. Aaron couldn’t wait to kiss his new bride, so I weaved that story-line into the narrative of this Highlight Edit… when the time comes, their relief and joy is tangible.

julia+andrew // Perfect Day // Waterloo Wedding

Julia and Andrew were married in a little church in Paris, Ontario, and their party was at the amazing Hacienda Sarria in Waterloo. The look in their eyes makes me feel all warm and fuzzy; it was an absolute joy to be a part of this perfect day. I usually lay down an edit in chronological order, but with this one, I couldn’t wait to cut together the wedding party entrances. So I jumped to the end and worked my way back… they really rocked the house!

theresa + joey // St. Joseph’s Catholic Church // Arden Park Hotel // Stratford Wedding

Theresa and Joey were incredibly laid back and fun to work with! I’m sort of like the Energizer Bunny on a wedding shoot and they kept up with me all day (despite Theresa having great difficulty moving in her dress). The above location is a decrepit factory near downtown Stratford. Special thanks to the girl at the tourist info center for pointing me in it’s direction. I love juxtaposing wedding couples with strange yet awesome-looking backgrounds. Ben Kane was my trusty second on this one.
